Silent Shore Resort
Overview
Silent Shore Resort brings Maldives-style overwater architecture to a Bahamian coastal setting, with buildings that appear to float over the ocean. TAS Architecture arranged the villas so they protrude outward into the water in a fanning motion inspired by local vegetation, pairing the overwater units with solar-powered Silent Yacht accommodations to let guests experience nature in an entirely new way.

Design Intent
Timber boardwalks thread between hip-roofed overwater pavilions that step out over turquoise water, glowing over reflecting pools by night and opening to sandy palm-lined courtyards on shore. Open-concept interiors orient living and sleeping spaces toward the ocean, while moored Silent Yachts — with their own salons, cabins, and decks — extend the resort experience directly onto the sea.
