TAS was founded in 1998 by Michael J. Moss, following his exit from RWA (Robertson Ward Associates), the international studio where he was an Associate Partner. He was joined that same year by partner William McCreery, and together they set out to build a Bahamian practice held to an international standard of design.

Nearly three decades on, TAS has become an award-winning architecture, design, and consulting firm based in Nassau, The Bahamas. Its work reaches across residential, hospitality, commercial, civic, and institutional projects — from private beachfront villas to airports, banks, and master-planned communities throughout the islands and beyond.

What started as a shared belief in design excellence still guides the studio today: that thoughtful architecture can connect people to place and bring positive change to the communities it serves.

Principal Partner

Michael J. Moss

Michael J. Moss leads TAS Architecture with a vision rooted in design excellence, community responsibility, and an abiding commitment to creating spaces that positively change people's lives. Prior to the creation of TAS, he was an Associate Partner at the international studio RWA and head of its Nassau office.

Partner

William McCreery

William McCreery joined TAS as a partner in 1998. Today, with over 30 years of professional experience, McCreery oversees planning, design, and construction over a wide range of corporate, retail, institutional, hospitality, and residential projects. Prior to his partnership with Michael Moss, McCreery spent many years practicing in Vancouver and other parts of Canada. Most recently, he was a Senior Project Architect with the Vancouver studio Arlington Group Architecture & Planning Inc., managing projects in various Canadian provinces.
