Bahamas Attorney General Offices
Overview
The Bahamas Attorney General Offices occupy the Paul L. Adderley Building, a 60,000 ft² government office building in Nassau developed for the National Insurance Board. TAS Architecture delivered a cutting-edge civic workplace in a distinctly Bahamian idiom — turquoise massing, white metal hip roofs, dormers, and shaded colonnaded entries — providing modern office space for government operations.

Design Intent
At the heart of the building, a four-storey atrium rises over the ground-floor foyer and up through the roof, creating a dramatic, heroic space with overlooks from each floor above. Layered metal roofs, louvered shading, and generous glazing draw daylight deep into the offices while expressing a confident, contemporary government presence rooted in Bahamian architectural character.
